Executive Success Stories |
Sarah, the Creative Sales Executive Sarah contacted me after landing a new job that she did not want to go bad like the last one. At her prior job she was let go because of executive function issues, and she ran out of unemployment. She was so depressed she ended up in the hospital. After she was out, she got her self together, and talked her way into a new position. She found me to make sure she didn't go back to that hell again and make sure she succeeded. When we first started working together her position was mostly commission with a base salary. In a short 6 months, we were able to dramatically improve her executive functioning skills so that she was able to triple her income and win sales awards. That was her first major career success as she battled executive functioning issues most of her life. Unfortunately, the industry she was in was down-sizing and dying. It wasn't long that she found herself again looking as the company was going under. She then again tracked me down for help. I reminded her that her mastery was within her, and reminder her of our training. I helped her to apply the principles, and really believe in herself. She then put her self out there again, and landed a dream sales position in a super highly innovative industry. Success is never a straight line, and her journey certainly demonstrates that. What was interesting to observe was that she was never really happy at the prior sales position despite winning the award. I would often ask her to feel what her dream job would be, and we make it real in our sessions. She believed it and felt it, even in the face of great opposition, and now she lives it! |
Carol, the Ethical Lawyer
Carol found me off the internet, and was going through a very rough time. She was put on work suspension from her law firm as she was having a ton of challenges with executive functioning issues and also with office politics. Carol was a practicing corporate lawyer, but she always wanted to use law to help people. Instead, she found herself in a law firm that was full of unethical practices, and she was so overwhelmed by her lack of performance and focus issues that she was in a deep depression. We decided to work together for a period of six months. In the beginning, she was still on work suspension, and we spent a great deal of time getting her grounded and emotionally balanced. There were many self esteem issues that came up, and during that critical time we focused a good deal on building up her self image, and helping her to master her focus and executive functioning issues. By the time her suspension was up, she had the guts and the self confidence to resign, and pursue her passion in using her knowledge to truly help people. She landed a job in a non-profit for protecting and preserving land for the benefit of her community. She quickly worked her way into a management position, and had the focus mastery and self confidence to execute her job in an incredibly successful way. Today, Carol is incredibly successful, and was able to use her expertise to help in ways she never thought possible. Looking for some help with your career? |
